Required ANNUAL continuing education for Registered Medication Aides (68hr – Assisted Living) and Medication Technicians (32hr Medication Technicians in Adult Day Cares, Adolescent Group Homes, Correctional Facilities). Topics covered include but are not limited to updates on regulations, medication administration, insulin administration, patient safety, facility-specific topics.
 
Requirements:
Must have medication aide certification in good standing and currently working as an RMA
If your certification has lapsed for more than a year and you need a refresher course to retake your state boart test – must be registered with board of nursing
