A Nursing Assistant performs many basic care tasks for patients, like grooming, dressing, bathing, eating, and exercising. They also assist the nursing staff with medical tasks like taking blood, monitoring vitals with medical equipment, and reporting patient behavior and wellbeing. The course prepares you to take the Virginia State Board exam certification.Includes CPR/First Aid, PPD vaccine, Background Check, Drug Screen, and State Board Exam 

40- hours of clinical training in a nursing facility

 

Hours: 140 HR (6-8 weeks) (60 Classroom/20 Skill Labs & 20 Clinical)

 

Requirements:

- 18 yrs+

- Background check

- Drug screen

- Physical health examination

- PPD vaccine

- Hepatitis B vaccine or signed statement declining vaccine

- Current CPR certification

- Covid Vaccine/Covid Neg Test

 

Tuition:

- Total = $2,500.00

- Deposit fee = $500.00 due before first class

- Remaining balance due before last classroom date (before clinicals) or you cannot go to clinical or sign up for the certification exam

- Tuition includes state board exam
