Personal Care Aide

Service Description

The Personal Care/Home Health Aide program prepares student to help individuals who are disabled, chronically ill, cognitively impaired and older adults and others who may need home assistance. The PCA/HHA assists with activities such as bathing and dressing and provides services such as light housekeeping and taking vital signs. Upon completion of the program, students will received a certificate of completion. They will have the skills and credentials to provide personal care services to Medicaid waiver recipients as well as others. Hours: 40 HR (30 Classroom/10 Skills Lab) Course Offered Online and Virtually through Canvas Zoom: 2 Weeks Requirements: - 18 yrs+
